Our trio was founded in 2008. We three have already played together in a formation called SOLSTIK some years ago. We must admit, that we love trio-music and so it was only a question of time of making music again together…and here we are!!!

Our music consists of nice jazz-standards and some jazzy-pop-oriented pieces of music. The music always should be not too tricky and pleasant listening to.

Unser Trio wurde im letzten Jahr 2008 gegründet. Wir hatten zuvor bereits in der Band SOLSTIK zusammen Musik gemacht und weil wir alle drei wahre Liebhaber von Trio-Musik sind, war es nur eine Frage der Zeit, dass wir wieder zusammen finden würden…und da sind wir nun!

Unsere Musik besteht aus Jazz-Standards und einigen verjazzten Popnummern. Die Musik soll immer angenehm sein und den Hörer zum Genießen auffordern, das ist uns ein wichtiges Anliegen.

SYBILLE KOFLER

She studied flute and saxophon with the great Florian Bramböck at the conservatory in Innsbruck (Austria) and got there her diploma. Sybille had some good workshops with great players like Bob Mintzer and she played in different combos and big bands. Today she is member of this trio, plays baritone-saxophone in a big band and is also conductor of that big band in Naturns. Sybille teaches her instruments in the music-school of Naturns. 

Studium mit Abschluss in  Querflöte und Saxophon bei Florian Bramböck am Konservatorium in Innsbruck, diverse Workshops mit großartigen Musikern unter anderem auch mit Bob Mintzer. Sybille spielte und sang in diversen Combos, Big Bands und ist heute Mitglied bei Fine Sign, spielt zudem Bariton Saxophon in einer Big Band in Naturns und ist auch deren Leiterin. Sybille unterrichtet in der Musikschule Naturns.    

GERNOT HOFER

He is a passionate piano and keyboard-player and studied classical piano at the conservatory of Bozen, where he got his diploma. Gernot has been playing piano in many combos and bands the last years and is also a good church-organ-player in his home-village St. Leonhard i.P. Today he is member of the current trio and sometimes he plays piano in the big band in Naturns.  

Gernot hat klassisches Piano am Bozner Konservatorium studiert und hat dort auch seinen Abschluss absolviert. Die letzten Jahre spielte er Keyboard und Piano in diversen Bands in Südtirol, heute ist er Mitglied von Fine Sign und  - wenn es seine knappe Zeit erlaubt – bedient er auch die Tasten in der Big Band in Naturns und die Kirchenorgel in seiner Heimatgemeinde St. Leonhard i.P.

STEPHAN KOLER

He is the drummer of the trio and has been playing drums in many Rock-, Pop- and Jazz-Bands the last years here in South-Tyrol. Stephan is member of this jazz-trio and plays drums in the big band in Naturns. Stephan loves much playing with brushes! He studied with Walter Calloni in Milan and did workshops with Billy Hart, Joey Baron, Walter Grassmann and Alain Rieder. He is actually studying modern drums with his teacher Marc Turiaux at Drummers Focus in Munich (Germany). 

Drummer Stephan Koler hat in den letzten Jahren in vielen Bands im Pop-, Rock-, und Jazz-Bereich das Schlagzeug bedient. Er ist Gründungsmitglied des Trios und außerdem auch Schlagzeuger der Big Band in Naturns. Studium mit Walter Calloni in Mailand und Besuch zahlreicher Workshops mit Billy Hart, Joey Baron, Walter Grassmann und Alain Rieder. Zur Zeit studiert Stephan Modernes Schlagzeug am Drummers Focus in München mit seinem Lehrer Marc Turiaux.
